Albany Lindy Hop Classes

Classes sessions begin the first Wednesday of each month.

LINDY HOP BASICS - Wednesdays 7pm
This class is geared toward teaching the fundamentals of Lindy Hop, the dance which grew out of the swing movement in the late 20's and 30's. The class's focus will be on trust, balance, compression, swing-outs, lindy circles, and basic line movement, and the lead-follow connection, which, combined, comprise the underlying structure on which all Lindy Hop is based.
There is no pre-requisite for this class, however some 6-count swing experience is recommended. (No partner required.)
